Travel Insurance

Travel insurance provides financial protection against unexpected events like medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost baggage, or flight delays while you're traveling.

It usually covers emergency medical expenses, trip cancellations, loss of passport/luggage, personal liability, and accidental death or dismemberment.

While not always mandatory, many countries (like Schengen countries) require valid travel insurance as a visa requirement. It's highly recommended for all international travel.

You should purchase travel insurance at the time of booking your trip or before you depart. Some benefits (like trip cancellation) are only applicable if bought in advance.
